My advice to anyone thinking about coming here is to just make the drive to either Atlanta or Charlotte and get a better experience. Apple needs to do something about this location because it really damages their brand. If that's the experience when I'm trying to give them money I would hate to see how smoothly the support goes for existing products. The guy standing at the door checking people in doesn't even have time to talk to me. Every time that I come here to buy something I have to wait at least 30 minutes to talk to anyone. The store in my own town of Greenville is the worst store by far that I've ever seen. I've been to several Apple stores in the US and several Apple stores in different countries around the world. Thank you Apple Store Guy (wish I could remember his name), may good karma come your way in 2017! After researching he found my phone was 23 days past my year warranty but he was so awesome and replaced my phone for free! What an amazing New Years gift! I'm also impressed that we only had to wait like 40 minutes (which is good for a walk in) plus it gave us time to eat dinner. The guy was so helpful and just as perplexed as we were. Went to the Apple Store in Greenville SC and sure enough my iPhone was toast. Today my iPhone made this hissing sound and had the strangest smell, looked down at the charging port and noticed it was burnt. Now I am told I can just walk in but will have to wait because I don't have an appointment. That is unacceptable!! I paid $400 for a watch that worked a little over a week!!! Feel like I am getting the run around. I was told to contact the local store because the tech said there were no appointments for a week. I have talked to techs on line (from somewhere) and they advised I need to get a replacement watch. I bought an apple watch a little over a week ago and it is not working. I tried to set up an appointment on line and was not able to do that as well. I have called several times and have never gotten through to a person to help me. I am VERY disappointed with the service I have received. The manager truly lacks the knowledge to grasp the term "customer service". I mean you guys are the only apple store in this area, surely they can find a better supervisor to run this place. Since I last went they seem to be horrible when it comes to most things. Im glad I've been getting all my products there. Staff was very helpful and called in a corporate favor to help me out. Spent the day there trying to figure out a phone issue. If the wait was not crazy I would give 5 stars but for that reason I gave them 3 stars. Finally got someone to help me who nice and helpful. Got there and guess what? I had to keep waiting at the "Genius Bar" which based on the wait alone nothing is genius around here as two associates were helping one person while myself and a lady were sitting there waiting for help. Got a text that my appointment was ready. This place is awesome.I don't know why this place gets such bad reviews.I was helped very quickly. The guy that helped us,Austin, was very nice and was very helpful.Īmazing customer service- had a team of amazing people help me replace my phone in the middle of Irma! Thanks guys!!Ģ hour wait on a weekday morning. Also carry smart home items and drones from DJI. Good store with friendly staff albeit less knowledgeable. This place blows and the only positive I can see if that all products are on display. I drove to Best Buy and was in and out inside of 5 minutes with my new product. They are more interested in playing on their phones and talking with one another as opposed to providing customer service and product education. Tons of Red shirt Apple employees in the store and not a single one came to assist. (You can also check out our list of every Apple store in the world.I finally decided to buy a new laptop.
